Welcome to the home of Student Veterans at DVC.
The Student Veterans Group at DVC is a community engaged support network of student veterans that focuses on the affective transition of returning military veterans to the academic environment. As a non-profit service and advocacy group at DVC our mission is to improve the lives of student veterans. We believe that, after military service, education can be an option we can smoothly adjust to. This summer and Fall, the group is preparing for more vets to arrive, and through outreach, campus tours, social functions and networking, we hope to make the return to school less challenging and more rewarding. We welcome our fellow service members and encourage anyone to help in the "welcome home" and transition process.
